Multi-Activity Instructors, Domestic Assistants and Kitchen Assistant Required for 2017 Season (March to October)

We are looking for talented and qualified Instructors to work at both centres, who have the experience of working with school children but are mature enough to adapt to a more varied client base. We need instructors that wish to develop personally and who are always ready to learn that little bit more.
Personality and experience count for a lot, however licensing and current good practice demand that staff are qualified in what they instruct.
You are required to hold 2 of the following NGB’s:
BCU UKCC Level 2 Coach (counts as two qualifications) Single Pitch Award Summer Mountain Leader
Driving License Current First Aid Certificate Two references. DBS Enhanced Disclosure
Applications from candidates with 1 NGB and training towards a second will be considered and remuneration if
successful would be adjusted accordingly.

DOMESTIC ASSISTANTS and KITCHEN ASSISTANT posts
We are looking for Domestic Assistants and a Kitchen Assistant who are prepared to muck in, work hard and have some fun by making the most of the opportunities working at Newlands can offer. Experience and personality count for a lot, however to be seriously considered for any position you must be prepared to be flexible in your hours of work and be happy to work hard in order to play hard! A basic food hygiene certificate is a bonus when applying for any position.
DOMESTIC ASSISTANT: To maintain a clean and hygienic environment in designated areas of Newlands Adventure Centre, and to assist with the preparation of packed lunches and service of meals to staff and guests at mealtimes. Duties include and are not limited to washing dishes, vacuuming, cleaning toilets and showers, mopping floors, serving meals, preparing sandwiches and general housework. (3 posts available) KITCHEN ASSISTANT: To assist the cook in the preparation of meals for guests and staff and assist in the maintenance of a clean and hygienic environment in all food preparation areas. Duties include and are not limited to the washing of pots, trays and utensils and all equipment used in food preparation. You must be able to work without supervision including the preparation and cooking of meals on chef’s day off. (1 post available)
